We’re not going to bang on about how green we are for some PR exercise, We do care, but there is a lot more we could do.
We have reduced the amount of paper we output from our lazer printer, we re-use envelopes and re-use paper so that both sides are printed or drawn on. We have contracted the wonderfully independent Brighton company
Magpie to collect all recyclable waste. We are all lucky enough to be able to walk or cycle to work and when we visit clients we take the train or on the odd occasion use the car sharing scheme
City Car. The
coffee we drink is fair trade and we wash up with
ecover. We recognise the impact our industry may have on the environment and do spend a lot of money with printers, so whenever possible we will ensure the paper stock is elemental chlorine free and sourced from responsibly managed and sustainable commercial forests. Our preferred print suppliers are carbon neutral and FSC approved.
Our office building is probably the most energy inefficient area of our business and this is something we are endeavouring to put right over the next 5 years.
