Scholastic - His Dark Materials

Description

To coincide with annual World Book Day, which promotes education and inter-cultural dialogue through literature, we were asked to redesign the covers of Phillip Pullman’s award winning masterpiece trilogy. Northern Lights (1995, published as The Golden Compass in North America), The Subtle Knife (1997), and The Amber Spyglass (2000) follow the coming-of-age of two children as they wander through a series of parallel universes, and reflects each cover’s different use of animal imagery and emblemised design.
